What does it mean to be evil?

In the world’s greatest role playing game, good and evil are more than just ideas—they are tangible elements, measurable and defined; pure essence found in creatures like demons and celestials. But what of mortals? How do their choices affect which end of the spectrum they reside?

In this 1–2 session adventure, a Party of 9th-level characters will find themselves drawn to the Hollows, a down-on-its-luck borough in the booming town of Fraternis. A simple job—escort a child home—will quickly turn into a hunt for a shadowy monster that is plaguing the neighbourhood with a series of grotesque murders. But is the answer as simple as “kill the monster?”

In an urban setting where not even the sun may enter, every shadow offers an opportunity for doom, and every decision has lasting consequences. Will your Party find the source of the murders? What choices will they be forced to make? And once made, will they still be able to call themselves—good?

This adventure was written during the workshop for the Storytelling Collective Summer 2022 cohort, Write Your First Adventure.

CONTENT WARNING:  Horror elements, murder, undead; possible child endangerment (as written, this adventure includes two young NPCs that could be put in harm’s way. If you feel this may cross any of your group’s lines or veils, consider aging up the Willowsong sisters to be in their late teens.)

EXECUTIONER MAP PACK

Gallows, guillotine, or stockades? No matter what trouble your adventures got themselves into, this map series has something to bring them to justice. Unless… they manage to escape…

I have made a gallows, a guillotine and stockades, and put all three forms of punishment in both the city and the country.

Of course I have done all the setup in Fantasy Grounds.

What’s Included:

Six .jpg maps 20 x 20  (4000 x 4000)
Fantasy Grounds .mod file which has all of the maps, the grid data & line of sight

FAQ:

Do these maps work with Roll20/Foundry/XXX virtual tabletop?

You can import the JPG files into any system you use to play your games online that allows them, however, if you want to use the .mod file with the grid and line of sight data you will need to use Fantasy Grounds Unity.  If you use Foundry VTT, check out my Patreon!

How do I use the .mod File?

When you open up Fantasy Grounds Unity, before you load anything else up, click on the folder in the top left corner of your screen.
This will open the place on your computer the Fantasy Grounds file are saved. Drag the .mod file into the folder called “modules”.
Once you load your game, in the bottom right you should be able to choose Library —> Modules and choose the file you just added.

The Mortality Handbook

Publisher: Dungeon Masters Guild

This guide contain few rules, but mostly ideas.

Ideas for DM and players to make character death an opportunity rather than a perceived injustice. Wether be it in a “happy roguelike adventure” or a serious setting.

It’s unpolished, it is not “my art” but the art provided by the website to facilitate creation. So i don’t feel legitimate to charge it. But i want it to be helpfull.

The pdf is in full review so i’ll definitivly take any purchase as a tip to encourage me to produce more and better (by drawing or recruit artist, creating more “ambitious stuff”, pay for grammar (i’m not native speaker)… )
