The Orders presented in Hunters of the Mists offer new and exciting options for your Blood Hunter to chose from. These options have been optimized to function with the Blood Hunter (2020) by Matthew Mercer available at DMsGuild and require the use of that document.

Hunters of the Mists includes:

Order of the Alienist: Spawned from the study of mind flayers from the Domain of Bluetspur and the damage they inflict, this order harnesses the power of psionics and the science of psychology.
Order of the Inked: Gaining power from forbidden tattoo magic they stole from the priests of Osybus, the Blood Hunters of this order straddle the line between life and death to battle the darkness.
Order of the Mind Flame:Using psionic gifts and arcane secrets, Blood Hunters of this order harness the Mind Flame to fight evil throughout the multiverse.
Ongoing Expansion: Hunters of the Mists is a growing document. Throughout the coming months I’ll be adding additional Orders until I’ve tied each Domain from Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft to at least one Order. Each time I add Orders the price will go up on the PDF, so buying it early means you’ll get that additional content free.

Each Blood Hunter Order included within these pages has been updated and brought in full compatibility with the Blood Hunter (2020) and is intended for use with such. The previous releases of these Orders shall be considered complete and compatible only with the older Blood Hunter class.

This purchase includes an image-free version of the InDesign File to allow easy access to community content creators to the text and basic layout of the document.

This is a set of five maps suitable for virtual tabletop or printing. These maps are inspired by Orne Library on the Miskatonic University campus as part of the Cthulhu Mythos setting originated by H.P. Lovecraft. However, this is only one gamemaster’s view of what the library might look like if it had to be translated into a tabletop roleplaying game!

Gamemasters, use this for your adventure if you need a creepy, multi-level library with many mysteries to discover! While the map leans toward the Classic Era of Call of Cthulhu, with no special technology throughout the Orne Library facility, you might embellish it with modern elements if needed.

The map consists of the following levels and rooms:

A lookout over the Miskatonic University campus

Special Collections, including a reading area for the Necronomicon

There is no specific room map key, so these maps are suitable for any story that a gamemaster might envision that needs a library setting.

All maps of all levels are 1750×1750 pixels. The download consists of the five different map levels in several versions of JPG and PNG. There are a total of 40 JPGs and 40 PNGs in various combinations of:

With flat lighting (that is not artistic, but which you might embellish on your own with dynamic lighting in a VTT)
With fancier lighting
With and without tactical grids
With and without my copyright map decoration (although please respect the copyright)

Pick the version(s) that work best for your games. The JPGs are smaller in file size and probably okay for most virtual tabletops.

(A way to sponsor ongoing projects for a small amount each creative work or month.) This icon set includes all the classic world/kingdom style icons we created for the Patreon in 2021. Combined, these icon sets have over 250 icons!

Each image is a transparent PNG so it can be imported into many image and map editors, including Worldographer. (Worldographer has a paid version and a free version which limits some features.)
