A reckoning has arrived for Gaia – Zeritul has at last revealed his final card. His legions of denizens have persecuted the Unreach of all opposition, and Zeritul’s influence on Gaia is at an all-time high. It cannot be long before Zeritul finds a way to finally tear down the veil between the two realms.

Zeritul’s final whisper to his followers on Gaia is that peace is coming soon. Peace, at a price. Though the Gaian Consortiu are wasted and drained from holding back the tide of Unreach legions., Zeritul has caused a schism the likes of which the Universe has ever seen. Some Greater Souls of the Unreach have, in order to adapt, followed the example of their former followers and declared independence on Gaia. Free from the perpetual harvesting which drove their existence for millennia, these Greater Souls find other meaning to their existence. A strange new understanding exists between these beings and the Gaian Consortiu and humanity as a whole.

 Changes are taking place within the Cloaked also. Some of those who were responsible for passing down the original teachings of Julius Demoisne have been visited by Zeritul and offered a choice. The choice is to advance the Cloaked to be the final shepherds of the human species, or to become fuel for the fires he intends to reign down when he fuses the Unreach with Gaia. Some have chosen to respect the pact made by Demoisne all those years ago, and some have not.

 With allegiances shifting and the vision of Zeritul’s new Realm – which he has named simply ‘Pandemonium’ – coming to fruition, there is time for one last choice to be made before the veil between realms is torn asunder. Unity or division; one must prevail.
